If you want to do something worthwhile and are prepared to make a commitment of
one session a week to the charity we would like to hear from you on 96 678 6887.
If once a week is too much, you might consider going on our reserve lists to
cover times of sickness and holidays.

open Mondays to Fridays from 10 am to 1.30 p.m. Contact with the Charity shop is

Shop are used to support the work of the charity and includes helping the
financing of:-
a.. our advice and information service
b.. our LIFELINE projects
c.. the purchase of wheelchairs and other care equipment.
We are always grateful for good quality donated items: clothing,
bric-a-brac, books, etc. However, we are unable to accept large items of
furniture due to lack of storage. Donations can be taken straight to the Charity
Shop or to The Centre.
Wheelchair loans
We have wheelchairs for loan, but we don't offer a pre-booking service as this
became too difficult to control but if the person rings the Centre on 96 678
6887 (open Mondays to Fridays from 10.00h to 13.30h) they can make sure we have
one in stock - or they can visit.
For our wheelchairs, we ask for a returnable deposit of 100 Euros and a donation
of 15 Euros per week or part week. We also ask for people to bring along their
passport or residencia card so that we can verify personal details.
Age Concern also has a local factsheet giving details of other charities and
businesses that loan out care equipment.
