Would you like to play football on the Costa Blanca, for one of the football teams on the Costa Blanca, with a good bunch of blokes, on top quality astro turf?

Torrevieja Football team have been playing 7 a side football on the Costa Blanca every week since 2001. They have some excellent games and a good bunch of blokes.  The creator of the mens 7-a-side football on the Costa Blanca, Doug, saw in 2001, that there wasn't much going on for local mens 7-a-side football on the Costa Blanca, particularly in the Torrevieja area, so started to organise this and now, in 2009, they're going from strength to strength, playing non-profit, non-league, but still very competitive football every week.

• Pitch is on the outskirts of Torrevieja, (about 10 minutes drive from Torrevieja town). No transport ?  Still call, as there may be other players in your area who can give you a lift
• All English-speaking
• New blokes always assured of a friendly welcome
• Totally non-profit, after payments for the hire of the pitch, floodlights (from September to March), footballs, football strips, training tops, referees, advertising, telephone calls, etc, etc, anything left over always goes towards the social events during the year. (That was how there was free drinks of any type, until midnight, and 1 euro for any drink of any type after midnight at the last Christmas do!!).
• Matches during the year against visiting football teams from the UK
• There's currently vacancies for 1 goalkeeper, 1 defender and 2 forwards
• Initial fitness not important
• Good way to keep fit and make new mates at the same time
